Our clients’ testimonials
The islander Resort is a great place to stay with an old style keys "beach cottage" feel. Our room had an ocean view - close to the water sports rental area. Everything you need is here: restaurant, beach bar, 2 pools, huge beach, pier, boat rental, laundry room and gift shop. We enjoyed drinks on the beach as well as the mango shrimp tacos from the beachfront grill! The Islander is a cute little place with great amenities that bring us to the Keys. We will come back!!
This is well located on one of the prettiest of the Florida Keys islands. Beach access direct from rooms. All rooms ground floor with outside seating area though not all have views of ocean. Beachside activities with two large pools and hot tub. Rental of kayaks, boats, SUP, fishing off the piers. Beautiful sunset. The food is excellent, wine smooth and service first class. Rooms brightly decorated. Nice ambiance. Would suit a disabled person and with some help a wheelchair user. Quiet night, though you could get some noise from your immediate neighbour, but generally nothing too disturbing. Breakfast first class. Lovely shop with unique items at reasonable prices.
The place is owned by an artist, diver, dedicated environment conservationist, and we loved it. Very nice! The room has a large kitchen corner, comfortable beds. The breakfast is $14, but worth every penny. Wish we had stayed longer...
